Soya Milk Longan Pudding - 3 ingredients 龙眼豆腐布丁

Image
The cooking series is finally here! Well, the very first recipe is super quick and easy I promise. Only 3 ingredients are needed. It is definitely the best dessert for hot weather. To add on, why spend money to purchase dessert at tong shui shop when you can make it yourself 😋 Ingredients : Soymilk     1L Agar-agar powder     2 teaspoon Longan     1 tin Method:  1. Add agar-agar powder into soymilk and boil over low to medium heat, stir constantly. 2. Bring just to a boil and turn off the heat. 3. Filter the mixture (to make it smoother) before pouring into containers. Pour slowly to prevent bubbles formation. *You can skim off the bubbles on the surface. Ignore this step if you don't really mind 😂 4. Allow it to cool and keep refrigerated until it is set (about 1 hour). 5. Add longan and few spoons of longan syrup gently on the top and serve chilled. *Kindly wait until the mixture is set only you add the topping, unless you don't mind your pudding cracking 😲

Sticky candy retail store locations

Merry Christmas foodies! Yesterday I rushed to buy Christmas gift for the yearly event, Christmas gift exchange party! Yeap, it is fun and excited yet headache especially when you totally have no idea on what you wish to buy. A good secret Santa is not that easy huh? Let me share with you the hints I got: A humble guy, enjoy travelling, food hunter... Wait, he didn't mention on what he wish to receive?! After I scratched my head for a thousand years, finally I come up with an idea - Sticky.  Sticky candy - RM 19.20 I realized that it's quite hard for me to find the retail outlets locations from the Internet. So I'm here to share the locations where you can find the outlets easily. They are available at:  Pavillion, The Gardens, Mid Valley, One Utama, KLIA 2, Sunway Pyramid, Alamanda, IOI City Mall,  Dataran Pahlawan in Melaka, Queensbay Mall in Penang, JB City Square in Johor Bahru, Imago KK in Sabah, Vivacity Megamall in Sarawak I went to Mid Valley through

Rakuzen - Publika Solaris Dutamas

Image
We used to pass by Rakuzen through the entrance of Publika West Gate but we've never eaten there before because there are simply too many restaurants in Publika. We finally got to try this Japanese restaurant yesterday. The place looked nice and classy. We walked in without a reservation, luckily seats are available.  FYI: We arrived at 7pm on Saturday.   Unatama Jyu Zen - RM38 Roasted eel and omelette (rice set) Sushi to Mini Udon Zen - RM40 With the combination of sushi and udon in small portion, specially for those who can't make up their mind between udon and sushi. The set is served with chawanmushi, tofu, and fruits. I found out that set order is way worthy. However, make sure you have someone to share with because their food portion is quite large. Nabeyaki Udon to California Maki Zen - RM50 Udon in claypot served with Tempura, California roll, chawanmushi, fruits.   I love the soup and the udon is chewy. Chawanmushi is so tempting. The tempura

Mizu Shingen Mochi | Japanese Raindrop Cake 水滴蛋糕

Image
Hi my beloved foodies! Have you heard of Mizu Shingen Mochi? Japanese Raindrop Cake? Well, it is a Japanese dessert which is wildly popular in Japan. People said that it will disappear in 30 minutes. Sound mysteriuos huh? I have no idea about it at first. Is it a cake or a mochi? It is so mysterious because of its name and also its appearance. Finally I decided to give it a try for the sake of curiosity.  Mizu Shingen Mochi | Japanese Raindrop Cake 水滴蛋糕 - RM7.90 It looks like a giant raindrop sitting on a leaf, served with brown sugar syrup and soybean flour. My first bite on the raindrop cake... Hmm... it tastes like a bland jello on its own. Soybean flour gives a nutty flavor to enhance the texture while the syrup makes it sweet. The sweetness is just nic e and they are well-matched.  Well, it is worth a try but not a must honestly. In fact, I didn't find out the reason why people are craving for it but I admit that it is an innovative dessert. Hopefully I can try the

Uncle Don's - Hartamas

Image
Uncle Don's which is located at Desa Sri Hartamas, is one of my favorite places for western food. They serve food with great selections and one thing I shouldn't miss out, their affordable price! Most of their chops are less than RM20 (including lamb chops).  Beside western food that you can find from ordinary western restaurants, Uncle Don's also serves Pizza and local food such as Mutton Dry Curry and Rendang Claypot. Parking lots are available :) They serve a wide range of beverages especially alcoholic drinks. People praise for their cold beers and they are famous with their -2 ° C frozen beer too. We ordered a Blanc Mug and Peachlifter. Their smoothies are refreshing.  Sky juice is free of charge but sometimes self-service is required especially when the restaurant is crowded with customers. Waiters and waitresses are friendly. Don's Salad RM11.80 Topped with a choice of grilled chicken breast or pork. Pork Burger RM11.80 Their homema

Wmart Blueberry Cheese Tart - Jalan Chan Sow Ling, Sungai Besi

Image
Hi, cheese tart lover. Ever heard of Wmart ? It is a grocery store located at Jalan Chan Sow Ling. It is famous with its blueberry cheese tart . People around me kept saying that it is a must to buy it before you leave this place. I have a craving for cheese tart. That's what brings me here. :)   Look at that generous amount of cheese! Their cheese tarts are always fresh baked and they are good value for money.  What really surprised me is the fresh blueberries. There are 2 to 3 fresh blueberries in each tart and my first bite was like...WOW~ The flavor of cheese tart change when it is served in different temperature. People say that cheese is best served in room temperature, but I love the texture of cheese tart when it is served cold. There are fews ways to go, so choose the one best suited you. :) You can grab these lovely cheese tarts at: Address:   No.9, Jalan Dua, Off Jalan Chan Sow Lin, 55200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Contact:   +603 9222 3853 Ho
